The Three Standard Flood Insurance Policy Forms
The NFIP Standard Flood Insurance Policy has three main policy forms. Use the policy form that matches the insured property type. These links open the official FEMA PDFs.
Dwelling Form
Generally used for 1-4 family residential buildings, individual residential condominium units, certain residential contents claims, and similar dwelling risks.
Open Dwelling SFIPGeneral Property Form
Generally used for non-residential buildings, commercial risks, and 5-or-more family residential buildings.
Open General Property SFIPRCBAP Form
Used for eligible residential condominium association buildings insured under a Residential Condominium Building Association Policy.
